Extra-Curricular Activities
St. Bartholomew’s has a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities for children to sample and enjoy.
After school, ‘Forest School’, more specific seasonal sport sessions and physical activity circuits, are just some of the many and varied activities that are on offer to the children. The school also commissions outside providers to run activities for the children.
At lunchtimes, teachers and members of support staff, will often hold ‘clubs’, including skipping, LEGO and choir. On the field and main playground, a coach organises and leads more structured sport and some of our older pupils, help lead games and 'activity zones' for the younger children (under supervision). The local Baptist Church has also provided a range of activities
Each term, the school sends out a chart showing all of the activities available, when they run and whether there is a cost involved. Parents can then sign their children up for the activities they are interested in. Some get filled up quickly, so be prompt if you want your child to get a place. We expect excellent behaviour from all children attending clubs.
