Our Community

At St. Bartholomew’s we are proud of our friendly and supportive ethos. We are very much part of the community of Quorn but also part of the wider world beyond the village. We help the children to learn about where they belong and what they can do to be part of that community.

As a Church of England School, we uphold a strong Christian ethos and we promote equality and diversity, and understanding of our community and the world to all of our children. We teach children these values through our CARES Code, Co-operate, Aware, Respect, Enjoy and Success.

We have an active school council who help to shape the future direction of the school and have input into its improvements. Our children are also very keen to fund-raise and often come up with new ideas as to how to help others in the community.

We strongly support a number of local and national charities including Rainbows Children's Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Research and the Bridge Project in Loughborough to name just a few.

Superstars is the breakfast and after school club which runs independently from the school,  but on the school premises. It operates from 7.30am in a morning until 6pm Mondays- Thursdays and 5pm on Fridays. If you are a working parent and interested in using Superstars, have a look at their website at www.superstars-activityclub.co.uk/quorn or ask at the school office.
